Build People is partnering with one of South Florida's leading General Contractors to recruit an experienced Senior Superintendent for a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development on Brickell Key, Miami—a landmark waterfront project redefining luxury living in South Florida.

About the Role

As Senior Superintendent, you will lead all on-site construction operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee field teams, coordinate trade partners, and collaborate closely with the Project Executive and Project Management team to drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations for assigned phases of a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development.
  • Manage and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and trade partners.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, look-ahead plans, and site logistics strategies.
  • Coordinate structural, architectural, MEP, façade, and interior construction activities.
  • Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings and drive accountability across all trades.
  • Maintain exceptional safety performance and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Ensure the highest levels of quality control through regular inspections and proactive issue resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and ownership representatives.
  • Identify and resolve constructability, sequencing, and scheduling challenges before they impact project delivery.
  • Support commissioning, inspections, punch list completion, and project turnover.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale high-rise residential, luxury condominium, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial projects.
  • Experience leading projects valued at $100M+ with multiple trade partners and large field teams.
  • Strong understanding of concrete structures, vertical construction, site logistics, scheduling, and quality management.
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
