Senior Superintendent
About the role
The Senior Project Superintendent Position at Miller Davis involves overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role supervises Project Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Interns, and serves as the primary field contact for the project.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Project Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Interns
- Provide guidance and training to project staff
- Coordinate with Project Executives, Project Managers, Owners, Architects/Engineers, Contractors, Suppliers
- Oversee jobsite operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality requirements
Requirements
Prior construction experience, including at least seven to ten years as a Project Superintendent. College degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related curriculum is helpful. Technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices. Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint. Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, CPR, LEED Accredited Professional, or LEED Green Associate.
