Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from mobilization through closeout
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules and sequencing plans
- Cookordinate field operations across subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Supervise and lead field personnel, subcontractors, and labor crews
- Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to team members
- Adequately staff and allocate resources across job sites
- Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA standards on-site
- Conduct regular safety meetings, site inspections, and hazard assessments
- Maintain a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors
- Monitor workmanship and ensure all construction meets quality standards and code requirements
- Perform routine quality checks and manage punch list completion
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track budgets, control costs, and mitigate overruns
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and margin
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Communicate project updates, risks, and progress effectively to all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates
- Ensure all inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements are met
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems
- Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Familiarity with lean construction practices and quality control processes
