Lead all on-site construction activities and serve as the primary field representative on assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Management team.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and adherence to contract documents.
- Identify and proactively resolve construction challenges, schedule impacts, and field conflicts.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
- Facilitate and lead subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and coordination meetings.
- Review construction documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project logistics, site access, material deliveries, and workforce planning.
- Oversee punch list completion, project turnover, and closeout activities.
- Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field staff.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success delivering projects within dense urban environments, including occupied neighborhoods, tight site logistics, restricted access conditions, and coordination with local municipalities and stakeholders.
- Experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, podium, and other complex ground-up projects in urban settings.
- Ability to proactively plan and execute construction activities while minimizing impacts to surrounding businesses, residents, and public infrastructure.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with progressive field leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience managing large-scale ground-up and/or complex renovation projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
- OSHA 10 Certification Required (OSHA 30 Preferred).
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) required.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Worcester, MA.
