About the role
We are proactively seeking a standout professional for whom we will finalize a formal role. The position is contingent upon the identification of a candidate whose expertise meets our strategic needs.
Responsibilities
- Installing, monitoring, and servicing equipment and systems at Company and client sites.
- Performing or coordinating test and evaluation, checkout, and certification AN/BLQ-10 tasks.
- Performing validations/verifications of BLQ-10 operational electronic systems.
- Developing technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
- Implementing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI).
- Training others in the operation and performance of the system(s).
- Interfacing onsite directly with the customer for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures.
Requirements
- Active Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required to maintain a Secret clearance).
- High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of practical experience OR degree/formal training and six (6) years' experience.
- (Degree/Formal Training is defined as: Associate’s degree in engineering technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program).
- Problem Solving: A proven track record of troubleshooting and fixing operational hardware/software under pressure.
- Mobility: Ability to travel up to 10% to support the mission.
Qualifications
VA Class SSN specific experience. Eligibility for a Top-Secret clearance.
