Responsibilities
- Install, monitor, and service SWFTS Tech-Insertion & APB cycles of AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at Naval sites.
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and testing of cutting-edge electronic warfare equipment.
- Support engineering teams with system upgrades, certifications, and validations to keep submarines mission-ready.
- Review change proposals and execute Engineering Change Instructions that shape the future of undersea warfare.
Requirements
- Active Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required to maintain clearance).
- Mid-Level Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years of practical experience, or
- An applicable degree/formal electronics training combined with three (3) years of practical experience.
- Senior-Level Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of practical experience, or
- An applicable degree/formal electronics training combined with six (6) years of practical experience.
- Practical experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I and/or NC3 systems/equipment.
- Experience in maintenance/repair and/or installation disciplines.
- Experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings.
- Excellent communications and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge across multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems.
- SSEP ESM Groom Team experience.
- Former Navy Submarine or Electronic Warfare Technicians (ET, EW, or equivalent).
- Direct experience with AN/BLQ-10 systems required.
- Strong background in sonar, radar, cryptologic, or tactical communications systems.
- Problem-solver with the ability to perform under pressure and thrive in collaborative environments.

Pay
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position under the Service Contract Act (SCA). The base hourly rate ranges from $23.87 - $49.00. In addition to your base pay, you may be eligible for a health and welfare payment for each hour worked to comply with SCA minimums. The total compensation will vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws.
