Hiring Department: Dean of Students Office, Division of Student Success. The Office of the Dean of Students connects students with campus resources and oversees student conduct, compliance, and support functions.

About the role

This position serves as the central hub for administrative operations, providing support to the Dean of Students, Director of Community Standards, and Student Conduct Manager. The role coordinates conduct data management and student services (absence notifications, student concerns, and record requests), oversees the student leadership development programs, manages office operations, and supervises student employees.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary administrator for the student conduct management system (Maxient), processing and managing conduct cases while maintaining confidential records for compliance and reporting
  • Coordinate logistics for conduct meetings, hearings, and appeals, including scheduling, notifications, and communication with students and campus partners
  • Process and respond to student absence notification requests, student concerns, and conduct history requests
  • Assist in tracking data for assessment, generating reports, analyzing trends, outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Serve as primary contact for office and provide administrative support including calendar coordination and workflow tracking
  • Oversee office payments, purchasing, supply inventory, and student fee processing
  • Coordinate student employee schedules, onboarding, and daily workflows while recommending updates to office procedures to improve efficiency
  • Provide administrative support for the student leadership development program, including assisting with the advising of peer mentors
  • Assist with departmental communications and website updates
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with data management systems, particularly Maxient or similar case management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, and Adobe
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and complex workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with ability to work collaboratively across departments

Pay

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $19.25-$20.87 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
