Senior Structural Engineer | Healthcare

Position Summary

This role focuses on elevating DLR Group's work within the Healthcare sector. You will work on projects that push the envelope of resilient design, collaborate with the sector team to achieve business plan goals, and work directly with the regional discipline leader.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) required in the state of California.
• 7+ years of experience working as an engineer, including engineering design according to HCAI/OSHPD standards within the Healthcare sector in California.
• Working knowledge of the design and construction process and the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of business management and customer service principles, thought leadership and relationship building.
• Demonstrated record of consistent quality work.
• Working knowledge of current structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc).
• Experience with BIM including Autodesk Revit workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for sustainable building design and SE2050 commitment.
• Experience with directing and coordinating project activities of junior staff.

Pay Range

$100,000 - $144,430 USD
