Senior Structural Engineer – Building Systems

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our Building Systems team in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of structural design projects while collaborating with experienced professionals in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building systems and related infrastructure projects
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, construction drawings, and specifications
• Assist with the development of design concepts and engineering solutions for new and existing structures
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other project stakeholders throughout all project phases
• Support project managers in maintaining project schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation as needed
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and client requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects and high-quality client service
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
• Experience in structural engineering or related building design required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; candidates should be actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or have successfully passed the PE exam
