About the role
We are a large team of 50+ engineers, physicists, mathematicians, and computer scientists who perform mission-level analysis to drive acquisition decisions on important precision strike technologies. Our work is sophisticated, engaging, and frequently has significant impact on Department of Defense programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply models and scenarios to evaluate strike weapons and aircraft operating in denied environments
- Discover data-based, platform survivability and lethality trends; advise conclusions; and support DoD investment decisions
- Work with a small team including junior analysts who will benefit from your experience, and senior engineers with whom you will guide the direction of high-profile DoD projects
- Engage in independent research projects that encourage creative solutions and reward independent initiative
- Present your work through briefings to both technical specialists and pivotal decision makers
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Electrical, or other form of Engineering; or, commensurate military or professional experience
- Demonstrated ability performing analysis with mission-level tools such as AFSIM, EADSIM, SUPPRESSOR, or JIMM on the survivability and effectiveness of strike weapon systems
- Highly skilled in learning new and exciting technical topics
- Work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and communicate complex ideas to a variety of partners
- Proficient to fluent in a programming or scripting language such as MATLAB or Python
- Able to obtain the associated required Special Access Program (SAP) level access
- Able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Electrical, or other form of Engineering; or, commensurate military or professional experience
- Demonstrated ability performing analysis with mission-level tools such as AFSIM, EADSIM, SUPPRESSOR, or JIMM on the survivability and effectiveness of strike weapon systems
- Extensive knowledge of strike weapon systems and aircraft – how they’re built, how they operate, and how they collaborate with each other and additional offensive warfare platforms
- Demonstrated excellence leading mission-level modeling, simulation & analysis
- An active Top Secret security clearance

Pay
Minimum Rate $100,000 Annually
Maximum Rate $245,000 Annually
