Senior Strategy Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Strategy Consultant at Joseph Bridge, you will lead strategic engagements for organizations navigating complex marketing challenges, periods of change, and performance questions. You will work closely with client leadership to understand the business, diagnose the strategic gap, and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations. This is a strategy and advisory role. The work centers on research, diagnosis, strategic thinking, decision-making, and client counsel—not the execution of marketing services.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, research, and strategic diagnosis across client engagements.
• Evaluate business objectives, market conditions, customer dynamics, positioning, marketing performance, and organizational priorities.
• Identify the strategic gaps affecting marketing performance and decision-making.
• Develop clear strategic recommendations, priorities, and decision frameworks.
• Translate complex findings into concise executive-level presentations and strategic narratives.
• Facilitate conversations with executives, marketing leaders, agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Challenge assumptions and bring independent perspective to difficult marketing decisions.
• Guide Strategy Consultants and contribute to the development of Joseph Bridge methodologies and intellectual capital.
• Support ongoing advisory engagements while maintaining the firm’s independence from execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, management consulting, brand strategy, corporate marketing, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience solving complex marketing and business challenges.
• Strong research, analytical, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience communicating recommendations to senior executives and decision-makers.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear strategic conclusions.
• Strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, and comfort challenging established assumptions.
• Ability to operate independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative consulting environment.
