(Senior) Strategy Analyst (f/m/d) Group Strategy (part-/full-time)

About the role

Join our Group Strategy team and contribute to shaping the long-term direction of the EEX Group. In this role, you will support the Management Board in defining and refining strategic priorities while helping to ensure alignment across all business areas.

Responsibilities

• Support the Management Board in defining and refining strategic priorities
• Translate complex market, competitive, and regulatory developments into clear, actionable insights
• Derive strategic implications, develop options, and formulate well-founded recommendations for senior management
• Assess growth and positioning opportunities, such as entering new markets, developing products, and evaluating selected pricing-related topics, using both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Contribute to strengthening strategic alignment by supporting clear communication and promoting a structured and high-quality planning approach across the organization
• Prepare high-quality, decision-oriented materials for the Management Board and relevant committees, including strategy updates, in-depth analyses, and ad hoc briefings
• Carry out targeted analyses on key market and business developments

Requirements

• A master’s degree in economics, engineering or a comparable field
• Initial professional experience in the energy sector, financial markets, consulting or a related field
• A self-driven, structured, and proactive working style, combined with a strong intrinsic motivation for strategic topics
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure, summarise, and communicate complex topics clearly and convincingly
• A collaborative mindset, confident communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
