About the role
The Strategic Deals team is an elite group of digital solution strategists and deal architects focusing on Iron Mountain’s most complex, multi-product digital opportunities—specifically those exceeding $3,000,000 in contract value—requiring sophisticated client engagement and executive-level negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Lead High-Stakes Client Engagements: Direct the design and execution of strategic analyses to support large, complex SaaS and digital transformation deals, presenting findings directly to C-suite stakeholders.
- Drive Strategic Ideation: Facilitate and lead customer workshops to surface pain points and co-create digital solutions enabled by automation, AI, and SaaS platforms.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Provide data-driven insights and industry research that influence their long-term digital roadmaps.
- Architect Bespoke Solutions: Shape bespoke SaaS solutions and commercial structures that balance technical capabilities with specific business objectives.
- Execute Executive Storytelling: Translate complex technical workflows into compelling business value propositions for senior external stakeholders.
- Build Global Partnerships: Develop and maintain deep, long-term relationships with senior leaders at client organizations to guide critical business decisions and platform adoption.
Requirements
- Extensive Client-Facing Experience: Proven track record in SaaS, digital platforms, or technology consulting, specifically in roles that require direct interaction with enterprise customers.
- Executive Presence: Superior skills in executive communication and storytelling, with the ability to command a room and influence senior stakeholders at the $3M+ deal level.
- Strategic Diplomacy: Ability to navigate complex, global client environments, balancing strategic vision with the tactical needs of the customer.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong expertise in problem-solving and competitive intelligence, used specifically to align technology offerings with evolving customer needs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in SaaS, digital transformation, or technology consulting.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and C-suite executives.
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and digital transformation strategies.
