About the role
As CRM /CX Senior Strategist - Freelance, you will play a crucial role within the team, fueling the development and execution of various CRM initiatives. This specific role requires strong analytical and story-telling skills, with the ability to translate complex data and research into simple stories and compelling strategies. This Strategist will partner closely with analytics teams to mine insights from qualitative and quantitative research, build CRM campaign optimization recommendations, and brief creative tests across the customer lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with team members and clients at the outset of an assignment to define/refine the right opportunity and the right problem to solve
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analyses to identify whitespace opportunities
- Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and industry data to define best practices
- Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to mine insights from user- and campaign-level data, and translate these into strategic and creative recommendations
- Support development of communications strategies across the customer lifecycle, including lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Develop and present compelling insight reports and other presentations to clients, effectively communicating strategic insights, implications, and recommendations
Requirements
- 5+ years of strategic planning experience in an agency, consulting, or market research environment – CX, CRM and creative strategy experience required
- Previous data/analytics experience highly preferred
- Experience working with syndicated research tools (e.g., Mintel, Warc, Kantar, Comperemedia, MRI, BAV, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
