About the role

The AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping Amazon's supply chain operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth. This role involves leading high-impact projects, collaborating cross-functionally, and continuously optimizing operational metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and owning Vendor Key Performance Indicators such as: Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, including presenting insights, themes, and trends to Senior Leadership team.
  • Strategically analyzing production and delivery lead-times, while optimizing operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement.
  • Spearheading initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability, collaborating closely with partner teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Quarterly travel to vendor sites to support ongoing partnership

Requirements

  • Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
  • 6+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field
  • Experience managing multiple projects in parallel through prioritization, planning, and task delegation
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners
  • 6+ years of proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex supply chain projects, preferably in a large-scale retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable supply chain strategies. Microsoft Excel and SQL preferred.

  • Base salary range: $121,200.00 - $163,900.00 USD annually
