Responsibilities

• Analyze data and draft implementation plans for production process optimization.
• Seek out ways to maximize efficiency by eliminating waste of valuable resources, impacting overall operating costs.
• Lead multiple teams on projects, providing direction and coaching to ensure successful outcomes.
• Anticipate external business, vendor, and regulatory issues and provide proactive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques related to food processing and the meat industry.
• Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and design issues.
• Knowledge of installation and construction project scheduling.
• Experience in project management and contract administration.
• Understanding of national codes and standards.
• Proficiency in engineering economics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Respectful, approachable, and team-oriented behavior.
