Senior Strategic NPI Sourcing Manager

The NPI Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in shaping the future of semiconductor innovation by leading technical sourcing strategy and supplier partnerships for breakthrough products.
Responsibilities
- Drive Innovation Through Strategic Sourcing
- Champion a forward-looking sourcing strategy that accelerates new technology introduction and strengthens KLA’s competitive edge.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, legal, supply chain and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution from concept through volume production.
- Shape Supplier Ecosystems
- Early engage key suppliers in the product lifecycle, leading development of sourcing packages (NDAs, Development Agreements, RFQs, SOWs, Purchase Agreements) and ensuring supplier readiness during and after development.
- Own Cost, Quality & Delivery Outcomes
- Take full ownership of NPI cost targets, proactively identifying risks, driving mitigation strategies, and ensuring alignment with quality, delivery, and technology goals.
- Influence and Negotiate with Impact
- Build strong supplier relationships and lead negotiations with confidence, balancing cost optimization with innovation, quality, and speed.
- Accelerate Time-to-Market
- Ensure compliance with PLC phase exit requirements while maintaining a relentless focus on execution excellence and supplier manufacturing readiness.
- Align to Category Strategies
- Collaborate with category managers to align sourcing activities with broader commodity strategies, leveraging business scale and enabling early supplier engagement.
Requirements
A technical foundation (BS in Engineering or equivalent technical experience) with the ability to engage deeply on complex systems and components, strong track record in NPI, sourcing strategy, and project management, demonstrated ability to influence suppliers, negotiate effectively, and drive results under pressure, proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills, willingness to travel (15–20%) to engage with global suppliers and teams, proven experience in the semiconductor or capital equipment industry is a plus.

- Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

Base Pay Range: $129,700.00 - $220,500.00 Annually

Pay
Pay range: $129,700.00 - $220,500.00 Annually
