Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior mining engineering technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
- Lead technical evaluations and engineering studies for surface mining operations.
- Provide technical direction during concept, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies.
- Review and provide sign-off as Qualified Person (QP) / Competent Person (CP) for reserves reporting.
- Mentor junior and intermediate staff and provide technical guidance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with mine planning software (Minesight, Deswik, Datamine, Vulcan, or Whittle).
- Proficiency in Python programming/scripting.
- Experience leading technical execution of multidisciplinary mining projects.
