Job Description

This position will report into the HPE Storage Program Management Office (PMO) within the Hybrid Cloud organization.

Manages and leads one or more programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the product offering and implementation process for a product or service offering.

Responsible for creating schedules, ensuring alignment and the successful execution of critical deliverables within schedule timeframes.

Responsible for managing program budget, resource allocation plan, and other supporting requirements for delivery of the program objectives.

Manage the activities of the project teams, internal and external partners to ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet program requirements and schedule.

Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.

Drive innovation and the integration of new technologies and initiatives into the program and activities to gain efficiencies and produce results.

Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Education And Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Information Systems Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Typically 6-10 years experience as a program manager.

Preferred:

  • PMP/PMI certification.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Extensive experience with using Smartsheet and other program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track program results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing very large matrixed teams and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
  • Ability to operate in a highly independent manner with minimal guidance required.

Job Engineering

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.

  • United States of America: Annual Salary USD 111,000 - 211,000 in Colorado // 120,000 - 228,000 in Massachusetts // 105,500 - 243,000 in North Carolina & Texas

The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.

Schedule

The role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
