Senior Stock Plan Administrator

Our client, a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space, is seeking a Senior Stock Plan Administrator to own the day‑to‑day administration of the company’s equity programs. This remote, U.S.-based role partners closely with Finance, Payroll, Tax, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate grant processing, transaction management, and compliance, while also improving processes, evaluating tools, and strengthening the overall stock‑plan infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of equity plans, including grant processing.
• Evaluate and implement new equity administration tools.
• Manage monthly and quarterly reconciliations and reporting.
• Administer employee equity transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Optimize processes for equity transactions, particularly option exercises.
• Support the development of equity‑plan tax policies in partnership with relevant teams.
• Design and document standard operating procedures for equity‑plan operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in equity plan administration or stock plan management.
• Hands‑on experience with Carta; familiarity with Shareworks is advantageous.
• In‑depth understanding of equity compensation principles, including taxation of ISOs, NSOs, and RSUs.
• Experience integrating payroll systems with tax withholding processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem‑solving expertise.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to consult with and educate diverse stakeholders.

Compensation

$110,000 – $194,000 annually
