About the role
The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.

Responsibilities
- Effective cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of sterile instrumentation and equipment
- Proper sterilization processes
- Distribution of sterile supplies and instrumentation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure availability of supplies for surgical cases and procedures
Requirements
- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (upon hire)
- National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (upon hire)
- National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (upon hire)
- 3 years of recent sterile processing experience
- Experience using personal computer and basic software applications

Pay
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Pay Range: $23.81 - $36.44
