Senior Stepdown Nurse

Role: Night RN Resource Nurse for the Stepdown unit. Responsibilities: Provide advanced bedside care to high-acuity patients, support team members with complex cases, serve as a clinical resource during night shifts, conduct thorough assessments, perform telemetry and cardiac monitoring, administer IV medications, and respond swiftly to patient changes. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, mentor newer staff, and ensure safe staffing levels and efficient patient flow. Qualifications & Skills: Strong clinical nursing skills in a high-acuity setting, proficiency in cardiac monitoring and IV therapy, excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
