Senior / Staff Technical Program Manager - End-to-End Features
About the Role
The End-to-End Feature team at Zoox collaborates with key stakeholders to define and deliver features spanning the vehicle, autonomy, and operations verticals. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will work cross-functionally with engineering leaders across software, hardware, PMO, and product to drive corporate strategy into tactical and detailed roadmaps, ensuring effective execution to meet milestones and company growth goals. This role leads E2E feature program management activities within the Product and Homologation organization to deliver a portfolio of top-level features supporting Zoox's mission.
Responsibilities
- Work with department leaders to translate top-down corporate strategy and milestones into detailed feature roadmaps, timelines, presentation decks, and deliverables.
- Manage on-time delivery of E2E programs and features to support team and company goals.
- Identify, propose, and implement new or improved solutions to increase team effectiveness and overcome challenges.
- Define deliverables: Align on deliverables for each team at each milestone and establish benchmarks for completion.
- Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate key information, and drive open questions or issues to closure.
- Create reports to provide concise and effective communications to stakeholders on program status, issues/risks, and accomplishments.
- Maintain a clear dashboard showing program status.
- Resolve or escalate issues: Collaborate with teams to find solutions or mitigations, ensuring E2E issues move forward to closure and affected teams are informed.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent job experience.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering or program management.
- Deep familiarity with software, hardware, integration, or automotive development processes.
- Strong track record of managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Experience in product development across all stages: ideation, design, release, prototyping, validation, launch, and production.
- Ability to keep the big picture in focus and provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each audience.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with large, multi-location operations.
- Experience with product and cybersecurity.
Pay
Base salary range: $205,000 - $286,000 per year. Compensation includes three major components: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may also be offered. The listed range applies only to the base salary and varies based on geographic location and level, which is determined by factors such as relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
