About the role

The role of Senior Staff Software Engineer, Developer and Qualification Tools at d-Matrix involves being part of a team building developer and diagnostic tools for d-Matrix' cutting-edge AI inference accelerators. Responsibilities include the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of tools such as the debugger and profiler, as well as hardware diagnostic tools for a novel and disruptive hardware and software stack.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain tools for AI inference accelerators
  • Build hardware validation and qualification tools
  • Work on debugging and profiling tools

Requirements

  • Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related bachelor's degree with 7+ years of industry experience in developing product software
  • Proficient in one of C/C++ or Python

Preferred Experience

  • Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related master's degree
  • Prior startup, small team, or incubation experience
  • Experience building developer tools like GDB, LLDB
  • Experience building hardware validation and qualification tools
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
  • Experience with Graphana and InfluxDB
  • Experience with web UI development

Qualifications

They have a background in computer science, engineering, math, physics, or a related field, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and 7+ years of industry experience. They are proficient in C/C++ and Python, and have experience building developer and hardware diagnostic tools.
