Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform

About the role

Nuro is seeking individuals to join our rapidly growing team. This role will play a crucial part in Nuro's strategic shift towards licensing its autonomous driving technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain autonomous driving software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomous driving features into vehicles
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new vehicle architectures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in autonomous driving or robotics
• Strong understanding of computer vision, machine learning, and control systems
• Experience with C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications

• Passionate about advancing the state of autonomous driving technology
• Ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Knowledge of computer vision and machine learning algorithms

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
