The Hartford’s Data Analytics and AI Office (DAIO) – and Data Platform Services (DPS) Team is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer. The Hartford’s journey to Cloud is a period of immense change – it is a critical part of this role to foster a customer first mindset and focus on work that meets the most needs of Data and Analytics users across The Hartford. You should be passionate for innovating with new cloud and data platform technologies, designing physical architectures and engineering platform solutions with an emphasis on improving adoption and user experience.
Responsibilities
- As a technical leader you will need to analyze industry trends focused on cloud computing and data platform technologies.
- You will be part of a team of architects working across organizational boundaries advancing DAO technical capabilities.
- Translate these trends into actionable capabilities.
- Design and Engineer target state platform architectures with reusability in mind.
- Define strategy and roadmaps to guide transformation efforts.
