Senior / Staff Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core products on company's infrastructure and platforms
• Ensure systems achieve 99.99% uptime through robust architecture
• Collaborate with SRE and data teams for automation and observability
• Implement features like IAM, rate limiting, and feature flagging
• Manage internal development platforms and integrate AI practices
• Enhance test automation and coverage across the tech stack
• Incorporate security and compliance in all development phases
• Engage with customers for feedback and product improvements

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend and infrastructure
• Proficient in TypeScript, Rust, Python, and Scala
• Experience with high throughput systems and API development
• Strong background in cloud services, particularly AWS and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with geospatial databases and relevant technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset
