Senior / Staff Nurse (MAH Day Ward)

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, and evaluates nursing care according to patient's needs, doctor's orders, and hospital policies.
• Upholds hospital nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring, and infection control.
• Keeps Senior Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, or Doctor informed on patient’s condition, treatment/intervention, and outcome.
• Takes active measures to ensure the safety of patients and reports all occurrence incidents to Ward or Senior Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager-on-Call.
• Works cooperatively with other hospital departments to provide holistic patient care.
• Ensures accurate billing procedures.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork, self-initiative, agility, and perseverance in fostering a culture of performance and engagement.
• Collaborates with team members to deliver patient care.

Requirements

• Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.

Schedule

• 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday, AM/PM shifts).
• On-call duties required.
• Sundays and public holidays off.
