Senior Staff Nurse

About the role

As a Sr. Staff Nurse, you will serve as a clinical leader and mentor within the interdisciplinary hospice care team, collaborating with the Care Team Manager to coordinate and support daily operations and clinical functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Care Team Manager to coordinate and support daily team operations and clinical functions.
• Provide leadership in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and initiatives.
• Conduct supervisory visits and participate in other quality and compliance activities as assigned.
• Serve as a first-line clinical resource for nursing staff and hospice aides, offering guidance, consultation, and support.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Hospice experience is a plus.
• One year of supervisory experience is a plus.
