Senior Staff Nurse
About the role
Empath Trustbridge Hospice seeks a Senior Staff Nurse to lead and mentor within the interdisciplinary hospice care team, delivering compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care in Palm Beach County.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Care Team Manager to coordinate and support daily team operations and clinical functions.
- Provide leadership in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and initiatives.
- Conduct supervisory visits and participate in other quality and compliance activities as assigned.
- Serve as a first-line clinical resource for nursing staff and hospice aides, offering guidance, consultation, and support.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Hospice experience is a plus.
- One year of supervisory experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in QAPI and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
