Senior Staff Landscape Architect
Job Summary
Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Landscape Architect to join its collaborative team in White Plains, NY. This individual will support integrated design services for both public and private sector clients at regional and national sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects using design, engineering, and graphic software;
- Perform zoning, ordinance, and permit assessments, and assist with project feasibility;
- Assist with document preparation, review, and modification;
- Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data;
- Provide field observation and construction administration services;
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting processes;
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture;
- 3+ years of experience;
- In process of securing or currently maintaining professional licensure;
- High level of creativity and exceptional computer skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
- Self-starter with problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment;
- Willingness to work in the field as necessary;
- Ability to travel to and work in other office locations;
- Possess reliable transportation for job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $88,000 - $110,000 USD.
