About the role

Be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You'll contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Arcitect, document, and own the Fab's Master Production Plan (MPP), integrating customer demand, capacity constraints, cycle time models, and material availability.
  • Translate the master production plan into the single source of weekly and daily start goals, serving as the primary pull signal that dictates material flow and work-in-progress (WIP) management for all fab operations.
  • Establish, own, and enforce the official Fab planning factors, including validated capacity models, cycle time (CT) models, and yield models, ensuring planning is based on current, measured operational data.
  • Lead the partnership with systems/software to design, build, and deploy scalable planning tools, defining data architecture and maintaining central dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or operational planning within a semiconductor fab environment
  • Experience in advanced demand forecasting methodologies, processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and production planning
  • Experience in manufacturing execution system (MES) and fab reporting systems (e.g., FabTime)

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • 12 years of experience in a compound semiconductor volume fab, with leading the supply planning process during a major production ramp
  • Knowledge of architecting and implementing integrated planning ecosystems (encompassing people, process, and tools) from the ground up
  • Understanding of compound semiconductor processing, cycle time drivers, and yield modeling
  • Excellent data analysis and modeling skills (e.g., spreadsheet), with an ability to architect planning systems and dashboards from inception
