Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering / related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Master’s Degree is preferred
- Minimum 12 years of related work experience with a solid understanding of specified functional area
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field
- 15+ years of industry experience in R&D with deep focus on mechanical design of complex, multi-discipline systems
- 5+ years as a Mechanical Technical Lead or Architect, guiding design direction and trade-off decisions
- Proven experience developing Class III medical devices, preferably implantable systems (e.g., neurostimulators, pacemakers, defibrillators)
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end medical innovation frameworks from need identification through concept development
- Strong background in needs assessment, concept generation, mechanical architecture, and early risk reduction (DFMEA, prototyping, simulations)
Skills
Excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
Pay
$113,300.00 – $226,700.00
