About the role
As a Senior/Staff Data Scientist in the Quantitative Risk Assessment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced statistical models to assess and mitigate risks across various systems and projects.Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models using machine learning techniques to forecast risk outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative risk analysis into project planning and decision-making processes.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns and trends that can inform risk mitigation strategies.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantitative risk assessment or data science.
- Proven experience in applying statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to complex datasets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data-driven insights.
- Experience with Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
