About the role

As a Senior/Staff Data Scientist in the Quantitative Risk Assessment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced statistical models to assess and mitigate risks across various systems and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive models using machine learning techniques to forecast risk outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative risk analysis into project planning and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns and trends that can inform risk mitigation strategies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quantitative risk assessment or data science.
  • Proven experience in applying statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data-driven insights.
  • Experience with Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
