Responsibilities
- Sample and process large datasets from autonomous driving data to evaluate new software safety performance
- Define and develop safety metrics, create data visualizations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and solutions of evaluating self-driving car safety performance using simulation and on-road data
- Lead cross-functional projects to build products to enhance safety assessment and risk prediction
Qualifications
- Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in data science/analyst or related role
- 3+ years of experiences of data sampling, quantitative evaluation and A/B testing
- Strong Python programming skills
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large database
- Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferences
- Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics
- Experience with machine learning based data analysis
- Experience leading cross-functional collaborations
