Responsibilities

  • Identification and management of obsolesence issues.
  • Management of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues.
  • Work closely with Program Management and customers to ensure material issues are identified.
  • Planning of material issues contingency and replacement plans.

Qualifications

  • An active DoD Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related engineering experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related engineering experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Broad understanding of engineering processes and policies.
    • Aircraft Integration, Test and Delivery experience.
    • Experience with obsolesence issue management.
    • Experience with management of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
    • Experience in one of the following disciplines:
      • Aeronautical Engineering (electrical, structural, mechanical, stress, mass properties, aerodynamics, etc.).
      • Software/Hardware Engineering.
      • Systems Engineering (including Test Engineering).
      • Project Engineering.

Pay

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

9/80 - Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
