Key Responsibilities and the Ways You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead local buying execution: Strategize, evaluate, negotiate, craft, and purchase local video, audio, and OOH media across assigned markets and clients.
- Stretch client budgets: Secure competitive rates, premium inventory, and meaningful value opportunities.
- Bring marketplace intelligence forward: Share market insight, vendor intelligence, audience trends, pricing context, and competitive considerations.
- Ensure stewardship accuracy: Follow the stewardship path to support accuracy, accountability, and delivery against client KPIs.
- Evaluate added value: Partner with the promotions team to assess proposals and identify opportunities that strengthen client plans.
- Build trusted relationships: Nurture strong connections with media reps and internal teams.
- 5+ years of local media buying experience across local video and audio; OOH experience is a plus.
- Existing relationships with station representatives and local media partners.
- Experience with media buying systems; Spectra and Prisma experience a plus.
- Strong familiarity with media buying and research tools.
- Strong math skills, attention to detail, and comfort evaluating rates, delivery, efficiencies, and posting results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and the ability to organize information and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and detailed execution in a fast-paced agency environment.
