Responsibilities

• Write, rewrite and/or edit technical documents, and publish technical procedure manuals, software user manuals, operational specifications, configuration manuals, and related technical publications to communicate technical specifications and instructions clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences.
• Participate in peer reviews or editing documentation with other authors.
• Assist new product initiatives by tailoring product documentation for individual user requirements and recommending formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
• Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight; communicate within and outside own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes; contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on departmental results.
• Ability to manage revolving and shifting deadlines and meeting schedules for multiple assigned programs teams with minimal coordination by manager.
• Maintain proficient to advanced level of consistency in documentation quality with minimal supervision and need for correction.
