Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and ing
  • Proactively monitor production systems applications and network components to detect issues before they impact users
  • Incident Management
  • Respond to investigate and resolve high-priority incidents Level 3 support and restore services swiftly to meet SLAs
  • Troubleshooting
  • Debugging
  • Diagnose complex issues across application stacks including patching bugs analyzing logs and conducting root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Automation Efficiency
  • Develop scripts Shell, Python, Ruby to automate routine operational tasks and improve system reliability
  • Collaboration
  • Work with software development and DevOps teams to deploy new releases manage change and implement permanent fixes
  • Documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations troubleshooting steps and operational procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS, command line, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Ruby)
  • Platform Knowledge
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and application servers (Weblogic, Tomcat)
  • Tools Familiarity
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Datadog) and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure
