Job Description
Senior professional with strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement with broad knowledge of project management. This role manages complex procurements, projects and processes that can be inside or outside of their immediate job area with general oversight. Typically responsible for managing multiple Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs. Explains, interprets, communicates and achieves cooperation on policies, procedures and practices with internal and external customers. May provide guidance and assistance to other employees. This position requires following established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks. Requires professional judgment and extensive use and/or application of supply chain/procurement principles, theories, and concepts. Work is performed with general oversight.
Essential Functions
- Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards.
- Performs price/cost analysis.
- Provides proposal support.
- Government buying and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant contracts experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related contracts experience; Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related contracts experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the micro-purchase level ($10k).
- Willingness to support supplier contracts above TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 annually.
Schedule
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off.
