Senior Specialist - Software Engineering
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and support NET applications on WindowsIIS including deployments issue resolution and coordination with infra and development teams
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Work on DevOps tools like BitBucket Jenkins JFrog artifactory Ansible Tower and XL Release to enable CICD and OpenShift
- Ensures the overall health of the supported applications
- Manages code migrations ensuring source control policies are being followed
- Applies application maintenance releases upgrades and hot fixes as required
- Manages UNIX access directory setup and required archival mechanisms
- Collaborates with infrastructure support team for outages, upgrades
- Performs platform capacity planning and management
- Serves as an escalation point for escalated production and/or platform issues
- Designs solutions to reduce the operational and management complexity of the platform
Requirements
- Education: BE
- Experience Range: 4 to 7 Years
