Senior Specialist - Software Engineering
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced contractor to support our Engineering Enablement DevSecOps Solution Delivery team, a strategic team focused on enhancing the engineering experience and unifying the engineering community. This role offers the opportunity to support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to transforming how our engineering teams collaborate and deliver.
Responsibilities
- CrossTeam Coordination - Support coordination of initiatives that enable alignment to strategic initiatives and enhance the engineering community experience
- Process Improvement - Assist in identifying and executing opportunities to improve visibility, consistency, and collaboration across engineering teams
- Demand Management - Help manage reverse demand and prioritization processes
- Compliance Support - Provide support for audit events to ensure organizational compliance and operational efficiency
- Contract Financial Oversight - Assist with contract management activities and financial tracking
- Communication Documentation - Draft and distribute communications to large engineering audiences; create and review technical documentation for engineering teams
Requirements
- Technical Expertise - Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and security scanning tooling
- Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Documentation - Proven experience creating clear, comprehensive technical documentation for engineering audiences
- Stakeholder Engagement - Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions and manage communications across diverse technical teams
- Process Oriented - Experience supporting delivery processes, compliance activities, and cross-functional coordination
