About the role

The Surveillance and Strike group is seeking a program finance analyst. Responsible for supporting the financial control of complex programs. Works as a key business partner to Program Managers and functional teams to establish and maintain the program’s financial plan, perform analyses, and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct and/or assist in financial analysis that provides insight into cost and schedule health on a program to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Support finance leadership team in the analysis of performance data with the goal of providing early indicators of program health.
  • Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control.
  • Monitor program adherence to approved budget.
  • Support finance leadership team on internal and external audits.
  • Support major programs including Cost Plus/Fixed Price, with contractual Earned Value (EVMS) reporting requirements.
  • Prepare EV deliverables, variance analysis for both internal management and customer.
  • Change management, EAC analysis, and reporting.
  • Orders, Revenue, Operating Income, and PWC forecasting and analysis.
  • Monitor and control cost.
  • Interface with various levels of management, Program Office, and functional departments to support programs.
  • Provide audit support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance.

Skills

  • Experience using PeopleSoft, COBRA, Hyperion, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong Excel/MS Office skills.
  • Highly motivated worker, comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment, where accountability and attention to detail are critical.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; project a professional demeanor and be capable of working effectively with junior to upper-level coworkers.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; be self-directed, proactive, and possess good communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.

Pay

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $88,000 - $164,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
