Role: Senior Specialist Pharmacist (Oncology)
Site: Private Care at Guys, part of London Bridge Hospital, Central London
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri 0900-1730 with contribution to lates, Saturday and on-calls on a rota basis
Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities
- Deliver, manage and develop a high quality, proactive, cost effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at Private Care at Guys.
- Work closely with (& at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology.
Requirements
- MPharm or equivalent (essential)
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent (essential)
- Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (essential, post-registration)
- Previous experience of working in Oncology (essential – post-registration minimum 3 years)
- Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP (essential)
Qualifications
- MPharm or equivalent (essential)
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent (essential)
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of oncology and related pharmaceuticals
