About the role
The successful post-holder will be based at Private Care at Guys, which is part of London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. Private Care at Guys is a joint venture with the NHS and is one of the UK's most advanced private cancer centres.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, manage, and develop a high-quality, proactive, cost-effective, safe, and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at Private Care at Guys.
- Work closely with and at times deputise for the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patients can safely access the latest treatments in oncology.
Requirements
- MPharm or equivalent (essential)
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) (essential)
- Postgraduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent (essential)
- Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (essential, post-registration)
- Previous experience of working in Oncology (essential – post-registration minimum 3 years)
- Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP (essential)
Qualifications

Pay
Competitive depending on experience
Schedule
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 0900-1730 with contribution to late shifts, Saturdays and on-call duties on a rota basis.
