Senior Specialist, Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety AVP Research Compliance
Salary Grade: Grade 48. Expected hiring range: $78,000 – $85,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison.
About the role
The Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) Senior Specialist reports to the Executive Director of OEHS and supports overall OEHS operations by serving as a liaison across all OEHS disciplines. This position works closely with each of the OEHS Directors to coordinate, communicate, and support programs related to chemical safety, environmental health and safety, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, clinical safety, and radiation safety. Duties and assignments are determined by the Executive Director of OEHS based on program needs, operational priorities, and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of related experience, preferably in a hospital or university setting
