Senior Specialist, Investor Services Operations
About the role
The Senior Specialist, Investor Services Operations role is located in Boston, MA. This role is responsible for conducting, analyzing, and reporting on transfer agency operations activities for clients of moderate complexity. Key responsibilities include leading client onboarding and internal conversions, conducting key metric reporting, assisting management with day-to-day operations, resolving escalated issues, and improving productivity through process review and control enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Conducts, analyzes, and reports on transfer agency operations activities for clients of moderate complexity
- Led client onboarding and internal conversions
- Conducts key metric reporting and consults/provides oversight to daily Transfer Agency processes
- Assists management with day-to-day operations, resolving escalated issues, and improving productivity through process review and control enhancements
- Leads project management initiatives and onboarding for new clients, and develops relationships with technology and line of business teams as Subject Matter Experts
- Analyzes business data to identify trends, mitigate risk, enhance client relationships, and identify new products/services to increase revenue
- Participates in client engagement regarding new products, services, or key business changes
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed and contributes to team objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- 3–5 years of total work experience preferred
- Experience in transfer agency operations preferred
- Ability to apply key controls/processes to identify potential risk
- Strong project management, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $96,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
Schedule
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team.
