Accountabilities

  • Support cost accounting activities by ensuring accurate recording, allocation, and reporting of business expenses according to established financial standards.
  • Monitor production accounting processes and support accurate inventory valuation activities.
  • Contribute to month-end closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Support controlling activities by providing financial insights, cost tracking, and operational analysis to business stakeholders.
  • Prepare and analyze financial information to support business decisions and improve performance visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, resolve financial questions, and provide recommendations.
  • Support improvements in finance processes, reporting structures, and analytical capabilities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to present financial data, discuss business cases, and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, reporting requirements, and internal financial processes.
  • Leverage digital tools and analytics solutions to improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in controlling, product costing, financial analysis, general ledger, asset management, or similar finance functions.
  • Experience working in a production environment is an advantage.
  • Understanding of cost accounting and managerial accounting principles, including their connection with broader business processes.
  • Knowledge of accounting period-end closing procedures and financial reporting activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare, interpret, and communicate financial information.
  • Detail-oriented and action-focused working style with strong ownership of responsibilities.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively within a global and cross-functional organization.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly FI and CO modules; SAP HANA knowledge is a plus.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics and visualization tools.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of German or other European languages is considered an advantage.
