About the role
As a Senior Specialist in Home & Community, you’ll support individuals in living safe, meaningful, and independent lives. You’ll help coordinate supports, build strong relationships, and guide skill development while promoting dignity, choice, and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with individuals receiving supports
- Support personal growth, independence, and life skill development
- Coordinate medical needs including scheduling appointments, transportation, and follow-up care
- Help ensure safe, clean, and compliant home environments and assist with maintenance requests as needed
- Develop and monitor individualized goal plans focused on skill-building and independence
- Partner with individuals, families, team members, and community resources
- Support program outcomes and quality improvement initiatives
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and decision-making skills
- Apply leadership strategies that support positive experiences for individuals and staff
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of related experience preferred
- Knowledge of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or aging populations
- Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of driving experience
- Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
- 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Preferred Associate degree or technical certification in a related field
- Preferred Familiarity with Chapter 51, 2380, and 6400 regulations

Pay and Schedule
$19.75 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
