Senior Specialist, CAD Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solid models aligned with L3Harris processes
• Develop documentation (drawings, etc.) as part of a product's data
• Implement changes to a product's data based on guidance from the program team
• Aid program teams in major milestones (reviews)
• Aid programs in task development as appropriate
• Assist the development of proposals
• Manage large and complex CAD models and their corresponding data
• Make significant improvements in processes, systems, or products
• Provide input into new products/processes that have measurable impact on business or functional results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
• Experience with CREO
• Experience with Oracle Agile PLM or PTC Windchill
• Experience with configuration management and product data management processes
• Experience with GD&T
• Experience in aerospace design environments

Preferred Additional Skills

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes both additive and subtractive
• Active security clearance
• Familiarity with MRP, MRPII, and/or ERP systems and processes
• Project management experience

Pay

The salary range for this role in New York state is $79,500.00 - $147,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
